🎉✨ We are proud to have been a part of the media, production, and PR relations for the 100th Anniversary Ball of the Republic of Türkiye, held at the renowned Natural History Museum in London. 🌟 With 8 cameramen and 4 photographers, a presenter, a director Piaryum Communication and Media LTD captured the event through video and photography, and we are excited to share the highlights with you.
The 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye
🇹🇷 The centennial celebration of the Republic of Turkey is not only resonating within the borders but also reaching far beyond. One of the grand celebrations took place in London at the globally acclaimed Natural History Museum on October 29, 2023, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
🎤 This remarkable event was organized by Atolye Group in collaboration with the Turkish Education Foundation UK, Galatasaray Education Foundation, and the Bogazici Alumni Association. During the night, the Turkish Ambassador to London, Osman Koray Ertaş, expressed his feelings, stating, “The heart of Turks around the world beats for a stronger Turkey in the second century. The legacy of Atatürk continues to illuminate the future. We take pride in being the Republic generation together.”
👥 The former Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Ankara, Sir Peter Westmacott, highlighted the significance of Turkey, stating in Turkish, “The Republic of Turkey has had a wonderful first century. I hope the second century will be even better.”
💬 Ergun Özen, the President of TEV UK, expressed his excitement on this historic day, stating, “We are very fortunate to have a country that has lived 100 years of excitement, freedom, and independence. We take pride in that.”
🌟 The architect of the event, Mehmet Ulusoy, the founder of Atolye Group, emphasized his hope for the second century, stating, “In the second century of the Republic, we should leave the stage to the Republic women and youth.”
🎶 Artist Karsu, taking the stage exclusively for the 100th year, mesmerized the audience with her voice and piano. Wearing a stunning long dress designed by Mehmet Korkmaz, inspired by the red of the Turkish flag, the artist performed songs that left a mark on the past century. The artist’s fiancé, mother, and sister were also among the audience.
📺 The beloved hosts of Show TV, Ebru Akel and Murat Güloğlu, presented the night, and television host Ezgi Kasapoğlu measured the pulse of the night with her special interviews.
⚽ The night continued with an auction of jerseys signed by players from the National Women’s Volleyball Team and some footballers. Alongside these jerseys, a work by the famous architect Rıfat Baltaoğlu, depicting Atatürk’s life on a Republic gold coin, also found a place in the auction. The proceeds from the auction and the night will contribute to scholarships for young people who will build the second century of the Republic, supporting the education of 100 students.
🎶 DJ Can Hatipoğlu took the stage with an energetic performance, making the 100th-anniversary celebration come alive with the most beloved anthems.
🍽️ A gastronomic feast unfolded at this magnificent ball in London. The specially crafted menu featured dishes selected by prominent figures in the Turkish Gastronomy World: Şemsa Denizsel, Kemal Demirasal, and Cemre Torun.
🍷 The beverage selection was curated by the renowned Master Sommelier İsa Bal, offering the guests the most exquisite drinks with meticulous care.
🌍 Each table at this elegant event bore the symbols of the struggle for independence, turning the night into a celebration where the emotions and memories from the pages of history were blended with the hopes of future generations.
