Ergin Balabeyoğlu is a seasoned media professional with a distinguished career spanning over two decades in broadcasting, journalism, and digital transformation.
Media Heritage & Production Expertise His journey began at TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) in 2003, where he played a pivotal role in the establishment of the TRT Çocuk (Kids) channel. With his name credited as a producer on nearly 450 broadcasts across TRT 1, TRT 2, and TRT Çocuk, he has a proven track record of creating high-quality content. Following this, he served as Chief of Studio at CNBC-e, managing the high-pressure environment of live economics and business broadcasts—experience that now fuels Piaryum’s media consultancy and production services.
Strategic Vision & Academic Depth Ergin combines practical experience with academic rigor. He holds a degree in Journalism from Marmara University and Sociology from Anadolu University, complemented by a Master’s degree in Interactive Marketing from Istanbul Bilgi University. This unique blend of sociology and interactive marketing allows him to understand audience behavior deeply, directly benefiting Piaryum’s marketing clients.
UK Presence & Leadership Before establishing Piaryum Communication & Media Ltd. in the UK in 2019, Ergin led digital transformation projects at Piri Reis University. Today, based in London, he continues to bridge the gap between brands and audiences. He is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of BYTV (by-tv.co.uk), the UK’s premier Turkish Business News Platform, serving as a vital hub for the business community. He is a proud member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ).
